One important person involved in the national Archives is Franklin D. Roosevelt. That is because he was the president when the collecting and preserving started. Four important things to know when visiting the National Archives are that it is where people preserve important documents, it is where the Constitution is located, it is where the Declaration of Independence is located, and it is where the Bill of Rights is located.
