The Liberty Bell is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was created in the year 1776. It is important because it rang from the tower in Independence Hall. It rang to summon everyone for the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence. One important person involved in the Liberty Bell was John Pass. With the help of John Stowe, he re-casted the Bell after it cracked, but it did crack again. Four important things to know when visiting the Liberty Bell are that is made of mostly copper, there is a crack in it that is about half of an inch wide, and two feet long, it has been taken out of Independence hall and pt on display, and it has the names Pass and Stowe written on it.
